The History of Flor-Essence

The powerful 8 herb cleansing formula that would eventual make up FlorEssence was first given to the Ca nadia n nurse Rene Caisse in 1922. This formula had been used as a tea for generations by the Ojibway Natives. Together with her partner Dr. Charles Brusch M.D., they researched the herbal tea at Dr. Brusch’s Cambridge , Massachusetts clinic perfecting the formula. In 1988 Dr. Brusch transferred the rights to their modified version of herbal formula to Elaine Alexander. Elaine was a noted health researcher and Ca nadia n radio producer/broadcaster who Dr. Brusch thought very highly of. After the passing of Dr. Brusch, Elaine selected the Flora Corporation to manufacture and market the herbal formula.

After further research and modification by both Elaine Alexander and the Flora Corporation, Flora began to distribute and promote their product which they now called “Flor Essence”. Because of the powerful detoxifying effects of the herbal blend, Flor-Essence has become a hugely popular product thought the herbal and nutrition community.
